Workers need to “get a handle on health care costs” by taking pay cuts and/or paying more for services. Not even on the table in this debate is a discussion about private health care providers or pharmaceutical companies “getting a handle on costs.” As a matter of fact, they can continue to triple profits, and kill people, without consequence. This will all be reported on the same page, without concern that any attempt at further critical examination is necessary.
