Just got off the phone with the Sanitation department. They were not pleased to hear about the latest advertising campaign in Manhattan for Mafia Wars, by Union Square Venture backed Zygna.
In addition to requesting the locations of the illegal ads, (I gave them two I was sure of) Sanitation wanted the name and number of the company responsible. Unaware at this time who is handling the campaign, the only number I could find was the billing number for Zynga. I gave it to them.
Tomorrow, CB2, CB3 and Margaret Chin are all going to be on the other end of the phone as I register my formal disapproval of this ad campaign.
p.s. wait till someone slips on of those glossy dollar bills. Mashable will be writing a different kind of story then.
